We have St Patrick's party at Larry/Tom's house on March 12th. It was nice and warm inside of house...where ? In living room and kicthen.. Kitchen is famous for deaf chatting. LOL Corned Beef, Cabeage, and Potatoes cooked. Jello and more desserts of chocolate, chocolate and chocolate. Smiles.

Chatting, give us humor and enjoy the night. It was nice evening.

We will be using picnic site #3. We have reserved the site from 9 am to 8 pm, so if you want to come early and start catching up on the news, come on over!

It was great and we were invited to William's home instead of Jens' home for some reason relate to Jens' cats and delay of the weather in December. LOL. We all drove safe home.

Mostly of you did not come for nice picnic at Tilles park! It was so nice and beauitful day. We chatted and have some games to play to get nice prizes! Boxers gift certificate, Mobokes gift certificate and CheapThx gift certificate. Those are FINE prizes and have raffles. Tom Y won the gift certificate to go Longhorn resturant! (shoot!) Others are out of our club. One won the Grill and another won dvd player portable. We have good time and dusk come quick at 7pm! We hugged and see them on October 7th.

*Don't forget the PrideFest St. Louis on June 23 and 24, 2007 at Tower Grove Park! Tower Grove Park is bordered by Grand, Kingshighway, Magnolia and Arsenal. There will be live music and entertainment all day, booths going up and down the walks and friends talking here and there!

And don't forget the parade on Sunday, June 24, 2007! St. Louis Metro Rainbow of the Deaf will be in the parade, with marchers bearing the GLBT flag and a banner, and a truck following behind with riders. We will have people passing out beads on both sides of the truck!

We will be wearing StL MRD t-shirts during the parade - if you would like to march with us, we would like for you to buy and wear the t-shirt to match with us - we are selling them at $10.00 apiece. You can email stlmrd@yahoo.com to purchase one.

*The next MRD car wash will be on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at the Shell gas station located on the corner of Big Bend Boulevard and Manchester Road in Maplewood, MO. The address is 2707 Big Bend Boulevard. Times of the car wash will be from 9 AM to 3 PM.

A BBQ social will follow afterwards - location will be announced soon. There is a Shop 'n Save just a few blocks east of the gas station on Manchester Road, so there would be no problem of trying to keep food cold until that time.

We have car washed more than 10 cars/SUVs. The fund raising went pretty good! We all got the burns over our shouldars and faces. Smiles... Beauitful RED crabs!

Also, we had small, cute group picnic in the park (moved to another park than Deer Creek, sorry guys). We had some laugh and memories about cartoon/tv shows. We had good time with fight over GRILLing. I think that is so FUNNY to remember forever.

There is 25 people at Larry/Tom's garage. Outside is about 30 temp and we all wore jackets to keep us warm. We had heater in the garage but other one is old and not working good. Yes, we wore GREEN and food are GREEN! It was wonderful to see all friends there and chatted all night. Some went to inside of house and still have more news to tell. Some went to home or gone to bar afterward. I wish I could post the pictures we took and not yet development or not hear from others. Please be patience. WINKS!

I forget to add.... there is gay friendly who friends with us and kin to one relate who is gay. Few straight people enjoyed the event with us.. TO BE CONUTINE.....

Feb 17th is Mardi Gras coming in St Louis (Soulard), MO. Annual lot of people come and celebtate! This weather seem SUNNY but sometime says SNOW/WINDY. Geez BRRR!

St louis Metro Rainbow of the Deaf is gather glbt deaf to go altogether for social all day and night, too! There is social at Novarks and Freddies at 7/8pm. Mardi Gras starts at 9/10am and will meet at Clementines about that time. Enjoy the parade and social!!!

We were at Mokabes and had good chat before the meeting starts. The president decided to closed the club as StLRSD untill later... he just walk off after his stress from us. We are leftover and starts to details with all members and this guy is wonderful who just visit, he was former member of RSD. We agree with him being president and we changes the name to new club. Look like we would stop here and not come back.

First, I want to say Thank You to my assist who posted the pictures from Halloween party and few comments to me. They are nice and seem fun, too.

The meeting for RSD is on November 5th at Mobokes, Coffee house. We are sure to go dinner altogether at Home Buffet. Lets hope we get the people to be voted and loose for new challenge.

RSD Party, Saturday, 21th

The weather is shower and feel cold at night...

At Larry and Tom's garage, all of us RSD members, visiters, and one bring about 6 straight people. I know one was BI but gay friendly people...... I think. :) Few is not comforable with others but all of us enjoy ourselves. The chili and breads are great taste. We have prize for 3 winners and they look GREAT, too!

Next coming saturday, 28th is for RSD members and visiters come to Larry and Tom's house for dinner and having halloween event there. I am not suppose to know... *giggle*

Pride St Louis Fall Festival 2006

Pride St. Louis would like to invite the community for an afternoon of fun at the Fall Festival picnic.

Oct 21st 2006, 12 pm to 5 pm, Stone Pavilion, Northwest Drive in Tower Grove Park

Bring your family and friends for a relaxing afternoon of food, games, contests, and booths. There will be games, activities, and prizes for all ages.

List of Activities:
Pumpkin Costume Contest – Winner will be decided at 3pm. The prize will be a Plastic Pumpkin Trick or Treat bucket filled with goodies.
Cake Walk – Prize will be a cake or pie running every half hour.
Bingo – Running every half hour with prizes for the winners.
Kid’s Coloring Contest – From 1 to 2 pm, the prize will be a Trick or Treat Bag filled with goodies for the best picture.
Three Legged Race – Running every half hour with a prize for the winners.
A limited amount of grab bags filled with goodies will be available for purchase for $5. Proceeds from the Grab Bag will be used to help support Pride St. Louis.
A Tarot Card Reader will be available for 15 minute sessions.

This event is free and open to the public.

I think we should have to get busy with halloween party within all who can not make on 28th.
